To provide visibility to the platform in which service notes are created, OnTarget has updated the Notes Search Grid by incorporating platform-related data. The new column identifies of the service note was created within the OnTarget desktop application (desktop) or the OnTarget Mobile Application (mobile).

In addition to the newly added platform-related columns, users may also use the added search filter (Platform) to filter service notes.

Necessitating Event Date – Client Consents

Within the Client > History > Consent tab of a Client record, a new field has been added for data entry for each created Consent record row titled “Necessitating Event”. The new field can be used to identify event dates to assist users in tracking and / or verify consent-related activity.

To provide greater flexibility in configuring clock-in and clock-out geofence ranges, OnTarget has enhanced the field entry for the “Allowed radius for non-residential shifts (in miles)” setting.

Users can now enter values as low as 0.01 miles (approximately 52 feet), rather than being restricted to a minimum of one mile.

Configuration Location: Configure > List Configuration > Timeclocks > Rules

Please Note: The field continues to use miles as the unit of measure, and now supports decimal values for more precise configuration.

Residential Shift Schedule – Flex Shift Indicator

Residential shift schedules include the ability to create Flex Shifts, which are displayed within the Shift Schedule. To improve visibility, OnTarget has added a visual indicator labeled “Flex Shift,” making it easier for users to distinguish Flex Shifts from standard shifts.

Scheduling Calendar Updates

Calendar Filters

OnTarget has introduced improvements to the Scheduling Calendar that provides additional search filters. The added filters provide users the option to view specific states for scheduled shifts as well as different types of schedules.

The Note Status filter has been refined to remove the checkboxes for filtering and updated to drop-down selections. In addition to the original search filters (All, Note Created, and Note Not Created), OnTarget has added 3 additional filter options that are relevant to Shift Schedules.

1.      Full Signed – Using this filter displays all Shift Schedules in which all assigned caregivers for the associated service note have signed.

2.      Partially Sign – Similar to the Fully Signed, the option searches for all Shift Schedules in which one or more caregivers assigned to the service note have signed but not all assigned caregivers have signed.

3.      Approved – Utilizing this filter displays all schedules associated to service notes (Shift Schedules and Non-Shift Schedules) that have been approved.

OnTarget has added a new filter type titled Event Type. Users can use this filter to display Shift Schedules only, Non- Shift Schedules Only, or show all schedule types.

1.      Shifts – When used, this filter displays Shift Schedules only within the Calendar.

2.      One on One – Utilizing this filter option results in displaying Non-Shift Schedules where there is 1 Client assigned with 1 Caregiver.

3.      All – This filter may be used for the Scheduling Calendar to display all schedule types (Shift and One on One).

consistent time spans.

Mobile Application – Unscheduled Notes for Non-Billable Services

The mobile application has been enhanced to improve the creation of unscheduled notes and schedules for services assigned directly to a client, even when an associated authorization is not present.

In certain cases, non-billable services may be assigned directly within the Services tab of a client record. These services typically do not require an authorization and are now more accessible during unscheduled note and schedule creation.

Mobile Application – Timeclock Duration Confirmation

To prevent the creation of service notes with zero total hours for services that require clock-in and clock-out, the mobile application now prompts users who attempt to clock out within 15 minutes of clocking in.

Users are presented with a confirmation message that allows them to either proceed with the clock-out or wait until the minimum 15-minute duration has been met.

within 15 minutes of clocking in, helping to prevent the creation of service

notes with zero total hours. Users can choose to proceed or wait until the minimum

duration is reached.

Mobile Application – Update for Assigned Client Lists

To ensure consistent and appropriate client selection based on employee-to-client assignments and configured rules, OnTarget has enhanced client access within the mobile application when creating unscheduled notes and schedules.

This update prevents users from selecting a client when the “Enforce Completed Date for Client Specifics” configuration (Configure > List Configuration > Employees > Rules) is enabled and the corresponding employee-to-client assignment does not include a Date Completed value.
