Dashboard FAQ
Q:I am getting task notifications on the My Tasks dashlet, but I am not getting email notifications when Tasks are sent. What do I do?
A: Go to Options –>Preferences–>Notifications and make sure that the box is checked to receive email notifications. Verify that your email address is correct in the "Receive email notifications at" box.
Q: When I go to my Dashboard, I don't see any of my dashlets. What do I do?
A: The Notes and My Tasks dashletsare typically enabled by default for each user. Additional dashlets can be made available to users per role by the agency’s security administrator. Click on the Configure Dashboard button to see which dashlets are available. Dashlets are made visible by clicking on the corresponding check boxes under the "Show?" column; click Save. Contact a supervisor or securityadministrator, if there is a particular dashlet that is not available; that should be.
Q: I am not able to delete or close a particular task in the My Tasks dashlet. The error is ‘Only the creator of the task can delete’. How do I delete/close the task?
A: Tasks can only be closed by the original creator of the task. If this is a task that was created by another user, that user will need to close the task. To notify the user that the task needs to be closed, click on the ‘Edit Task’ icon for the task. Enter a description for the task, letting the user know that the task needs to be closed. Click Save to send the task edit.
Q: I have run the ‘Assessment of Progress by ISP Goal’ and ‘Intervention User by ISP Goal’ reports for a particular client, service and date range in OnTarget, but all I see is a bar graph display. How do I get a proper report of this data that I can send to a care coordinator?
A: Once the client name, service and date range for either of these reports has been entered, and the Filter button has been clicked, a bar graph displays. For an exportable report, click ‘Export’. This will display a table-formatted report with goals, keys and percentages that can be exported to any of the common formats listed.
Q: What is the purpose of the ‘Caregiver’ drop-down on the ‘Assessment of Progress by ISP Goal’ and ‘Intervention User by ISP Goal’ reports?
A: By selecting a particular Caregiver, the report will return results based on data only associated with that caregiver’s notes documentation. It’s a way of parsing the calculated data based on the provider of the service.
Q: Is there a way to send a task message to multiple recipients at the same time?
A: The Notifications dashlet allows for sending a task message to multiple recipients at the same time. From Notifications, click ‘Add Notification’. Enter a message and click Save to send to all users agency wide. Optionally, select a cost center and/or job title to restrict the sending of the message by cost center and/or job title.
Q: Is there a way to view tasks that have been closed?
