We are pleased to announce an update to the OnTarget mobile application, designed to enhance user experience in conjunction with the recent desktop update for overnight schedules.

Overnight Schedule Visibility:

1.     Overnight Schedule Visibility:A new moon icon has been introduced to clearly indicate overnight schedule cards. This enhancement allows users to easily identify all schedule cards associated with overnight shifts.

2.     Shift Segmentation:Upon the creation of an overnight shift, the mobile application will now display schedule cards divided into the corresponding number of shifts. This feature enables users to create a service note for each segment of the shift,streamlining the documentation process.

Overnight Clock In / Out Process:

• Clock In Notification: When users click the "Clock In" button, a notification will appear, providing important information regarding the expected date and time for clocking out on the final day of the overnight shift.
• Automatic Clock Out/In Process: For users clocking in for the first segment of an overnight shift, the system will automatically clock them out at 11:59 PM and then clock them back in at 12:00 AM for the subsequent segment. This automated process will apply to all subsequent shifts associated with the overnight schedule.

Important Note: To take advantage of the automatic clocking feature, users must be clocked in for the first portion of the overnight shift.

Additional Clock Out Information:

• Manual Clock Out Option: Once a user is clocked in, the Clock Out button will remain accessible. This option should be used only if the user needs to clock out prior to 11:59 PM.
• Automatic Clock Out: If the user does not manually clock out, OnTarget will automatically clock them out at 11:59 PM.

Important Note: If a user chooses to clock out before11:59 PM, OnTarget will not be able to automatically clock them in at 12:00 AM for the subsequent portion of the overnight shift.
