15 Note Configuration: How to Assign Keys
Once note keys have been configured, they need to be assigned to the services that they will be documented against. This is required in order to begin creating grid notes.
- Click on Billing and expand to find services
- Click on Services
Helpful Hint: If you do not see the Services desktop, ensure that your assigned role has access. Also, check Menu Settings to ensure that Services has been moved from the Desktop pane (inactive) over to the active desktops section.
3. Click on the Note Configuration button (top of screen)
Helpful Hint: If you do not see the Note Configuration button, ensure that your assigned role has access.
4. Select the service that you want to assign keys to (left side of pane).
5. Select the Default Template from the drop-down.
Helpful Hint: This is the template that will populate by default when a note is written against a particular service. A different template can be selected manually when writing a note (unless notes are locked to schedules).
- Select any of the optional checkboxes (if applicable):
- Include Supervisor Signature on Note DMS Document: if this is checked, the supervisor’s signature will be included on the final note DMS document.
- Select the Auto Approve Notes for this Service, if you want the system to auto-approve signed notes, for the service selected.
- Lock Note on Scheduling: if this is checked, note header information will be locked and can only come from an associated schedule.
- Select the desired note keys (checkboxes). Choose from Assessment, Intervention, and Location types (if pre-configured).
- Click on the Save button
